Get access and sign in
This works like the PTSA's WordPress did: there is one shared PTSA login for Webflow, and every editor signs in with it. This page gets you from that login to looking at the site.
1. Get the shared login
- Ask the site owner for the PTSA's Webflow sign-in. They should share it through a password manager, not by email or text. TBD who the site owner is and which password manager the PTSA uses.
- Go to webflow.com/login and sign in.

Screenshot: the Webflow sign-in page. - If Webflow asks for a sign-in code, it sends it to the PTSA's shared email address, not to you. Ask whoever reads that inbox. TBD which address, and who reads it.
2. What editors change, and what to leave
The shared login has full access, the same as the site owner. Webflow will not stop you from changing the layout, the menus or the design of every page at once. The handbook keeps you to the safe parts, and the team agrees on the rest:
- Change words, photos and links on pages, and add news posts and Chatter issues. That is everything in the task pages.
- Leave layout, styles, menus and new pages to the site manager. A style change in one place can change every page that uses it.
- Never change the account itself: its password, email address, billing or members. Only the site owner does that.
Tell the others when you are editing. Everyone is the same "person" to Webflow, so it cannot show who changed what, and two people editing the same page at once can overwrite each other. A quick message before you start is enough. TBD where the editors message each other.
3. Open the PTSA site
- Go to webflow.com/dashboard. This is your Dashboard: a list of every site you can work on.

Screenshot: the Webflow Dashboard with the Cherry Crest PTSA site card highlighted. - Click the Cherry Crest PTSA site. It opens in the editing screen. The next page, the tour, explains what you are looking at.
4. If you will send the Chatter: Brevo and the composer
Skip this if you only edit the website. The Chatter uses two more things besides Webflow:
- Brevo is the email service that sends the Chatter and keeps the subscriber list. Like Webflow, it is a real company's product with its own account and login. Like Webflow, you sign in with a shared PTSA login. TBD the PTSA's Brevo account.
- The newsletter composer is a small add-on tool built for the PTSA, a bit like a WordPress plugin. It reads the issue from Webflow, shows the email preview, and makes the draft in Brevo. You need to be on its list of people allowed to sign in. TBD where it runs and its web address.
The practice site
Until launch, nothing you publish reaches the real website. It goes only to the practice site:
cherry-crest-ptsa-webflow-demo.webflow.io
You can browse the practice site now. Editing it needs a Webflow sign-in, which you get at handover. After launch, a publish also goes to www.cherrycrest-ptsa.org (saving vs publishing). TBD whether the practice site is kept after launch.
